Olearia del Garda was first set up by Augusto Erbifori in Malcesine in the early nineteen eighties. He availed himself of his thirty experience in the oil making field, by developing a line of products that, in just a few years, made a name for itself in multiples and chain stores throughout Italy. At the same time, thanks to the collaboration with qualified exporters, he successfully introduced the products into well-known firms abroad. It soon became necessary, because of the rapid growth of the company and the ever increasing volume of oil handled, to make a larger production plant. New works and offices were built in Bardolino in 1987. It is here that the best oils, produced in the Mediterranean area, are selected, bottled and packed with the same care as ever. The remarkable growth which has taken place in recent years has not in any way changed the original characteristics and philosophy of the Company: it offers its customers a “flexibility” that is the capability of meeting any of the customers requirements, in a modern commercial establishment.
